This group is facilitated by a certified Acupuncture Detoxification Specialist (ADS) and licensed mental health professional.
Each session includes a guided mindfulness practice, psychoeducation on stress reduction and emotional regulation, and a structured Acudetox treatment using five-point ear acupuncture, based on the NADA protocol. Participants are also engaged in brief processing and therapeutic discussion to enhance insight and reinforce coping strategies.
Clinical Objectives:

Reduce physiological symptoms of anxiety and stress (e.g., insomnia, restlessness, irritability)
-
Improve emotional regulation and impulse control
-
Support detoxification and recovery for individuals with substance use disorders
-
Increase mindfulness, self-awareness, and distress tolerance
-
Enhance engagement in ongoing therapy and promote wellness
